A fireworks festival is coming to Hamilton

Kaboom! Get ready for some spectacle as a fireworks festival makes its way to Hamilton this weekend. 

Pyro Fest will be taking place at the Ancaster Fairgrounds this Saturday, August 17th with gates opening at 4 pm and the event kicking off at 5 pm. 

Leading up to the main event after dark, visitors can partake in fun features like vendors, entertainment like live music, food trucks, family activities, face painting, bouncy castles, games, and more. 

Then, at 10 pm, Pyro Fest will show off what they call ‘Canada’s largest firework show’ featuring brilliant displays of fireworks choreographed to music. There will even be LED bracelets that can be purchased onsite that will be synchronized to the show! 

This is the first time Pyro Fest is hosting an event here in Hamilton after multiple successful years of events in the Kawartha Lakes region.
