A free hip-hop festival is happening in Hamilton this summer

Hip-hop lovers are going to feel right at home at a Hamilton festival returning for its third iteration this summer.
905 Fest – a free outdoor event that calls itself the ‘home of Hamilton hip-hop’ – will be bringing all sorts of live music, vendors, food, games, and so much more to the Hammer on Sunday, August 27th.
Last year’s festival took place at Woodlands Park in Barton Village, but the 2023 version of 905 Fest will be bringing the fun to Bayfront Park for the first time.
Though the festival is free for the community to attend, they’ll also be accepting donations of non-perishable goods in support of Living Rock Youth Resources, a valued Hamilton organization benefitting at-risk youth.
905 Fest is also currently seeking sponsors, vendors, and volunteers who want to contribute to the event, and a lineup of talent set to take the stage will be announced in the coming weeks.
