A new Indian fusion pizza place is coming to Hamilton

If you’ve had those takeout nights where you can’t decide between pizza or Indian food, a new spot in Hamilton is going to help solve that problem.

That’s because the forthcoming Popular Pizza – which will be opening soon at 267 Queenston Road – specializes in Indian fusion pies, combining the cheesy, saucy goodness of a comforting pizza with the rich, aromatic flavours of Indian cuisine.

Building on numerous successful existing locations in places like Brampton, Barrie, Etobicoke, Kitchener, Guelph, and even Calgary, this will be Popular Pizza’s first restaurant in the Hamilton area.

The menu is loaded with all of the traditional pizza toppings you could want, from mushrooms to green peppers to pepperoni; but things get twisty with options like tandoori paneer, butter chicken, and tandoori fish.

Sides like potato wedges, chicken wings, and garlic bread round things off here, merging classic pizzeria staples with Indian-inspired flourishes.

A firm opening date has yet to be announced, but follow Popular Pizza on social media to stay updated!
