Food trucks are often some of the best hidden gems for great food, and a new one that recently launched in Hamilton promises some tasty Indian street eats.
Indian Street Food has opened at 126 Sanford Avenue North beside the Tim Hortons at the corner of Cannon and Sanford.
The eye-catchingly decorated food truck was previously home to the bright yellow Burger Bus, which has sat empty for a few months in hopes of a new food venture taking its place.
Indian Street Food is building on a first location in Brantford with this new Hamilton food truck, serving flavourful, aromatic Indian street bites like paneer burgers, pav bhaji, samosas, momos in a variety of flavours, chicken tikka wraps, butter chicken poutine, some Hakka Chinese dishes, and more.
The menu is rounded off with classic Indian drinks like mango lassis and Indian sodas by Jain Shikanji.
The food truck is even open quite late for those who want a midnight snack: visit them at 126 Sanford Avenue North Thursday to Sunday from 1 pm to 1 am, or Monday from 1 pm to 6 pm!
