A new spot for delicious desserts is opening on the Hamilton Mountain

Here’s a touch of sweet news for you: a tantalizing new dessert place is getting ready to open its doors in Hamilton.
It’s called D-Spot, and it’s a dessert café with popular existing locations all over Ontario in places like Guelph, Kitchener, Mississauga, Toronto, and Scarborough as well as a handful out in Alberta.
According to the D-Spot website, the dessert shop is in the midst of a considerable expansion with new locations in the works for Barrie, Burlington, Pickering, Whitby, London, Brampton, and right here in Hamilton.

The menu at D-Spot is pretty much a dessert lover’s dream: milkshakes, warm skillet cookies, cake slices, massive waffles, ice cream, pancakes, funnel cakes, crepes, and much more adorn the lineup of indulgences that are loaded with a wild array of toppings.
That’s not to say they haven’t got some savoury bites on hand too: D-Spot also serves up burgers, sandwiches, fries, poutines, and sausages with a wide variety of toppings.
D-Spot’s first-ever Hamilton location will be a particular treat for Mountain residents, opening in the former home of a Tim Hortons location opposite Lime Ridge Mall in the Toys R Us plaza.
What’s still unknown is a firm opening date; but some signage in the windows indicates that the work is well underway. In the meantime, make sure you save room for dessert!
