A wine festival is coming to Hamilton

If you pine for Pinot and cheer for Chardonnay, a new festival coming to Hamilton sounds like it’ll be the perfect place to whet your whistle.

Why Not Wine Festival will soon be debuting in Hamilton, presented by Sonic Unyon Records and billing itself as a ‘unique wine tasting experience.’

Though details are currently scant, the festival is also being organized by the team behind Because Beer, one of Hamilton most popular craft beer festivals known for bringing a variety of Ontario’s best breweries and cideries together at Pier 4 Park.

It’s probably a safe guess that Why Not Wine Festival will follow a similar track, assembling an eclectic mix of wineries from the region and perhaps even beyond.

Bringing a wine festival to Hamilton makes plenty of sense; after all, the nearby Niagara region is known as one of the world’s most prominent wine producers, and there are dozens of other outstanding wineries scattered throughout towns all over Ontario.

Whether you prefer red, white, or rose, we’re betting there will be no shortage of choice when Why Not Wine Festival launches in Hamilton later this year, and we can’t wait to learn more!

Follow the festival on social media to stay updated.
