A striking and fantastical floral exhibit at Hamilton’s Royal Botanical Gardens wants to take you down the rabbit hole.
Alice in Bloomland is on now at the RBG Centre (680 Plains Road West, Burlington), running Tuesdays through Sundays until March 30th with a themed exhibition to bring some vibrant colour to the chilly and grey winter months.
Over 25,000 real orchid blooms have been arranged by the RBG with a striking Alice in Wonderland theme, with eye-catching features like clock faces, tea parties, the Mad Hatter’s hat, and much more.
“This floral showcase weaves together the magic of horticulture, the whimsy of floral design, and the marvel of visual arts to create an enchanting indoor wonderland straight out of a dream,” reads the RBG website.
Timed tickets are available through the RBG with different prices for adults, seniors, students, and children plus a variance in price for attending during peak hours or off-peak hours.
There will also be a special 19+ RBG After Dark event at Alice in Bloomland on February 20th and March 20th from 6 pm to 10 pm, with added features like cocktails.
It’s a great way to get a head start on vibrant spring florals in a fun, interactive, creatively designed environment! See more and get tickets on the RBG website.
