A Hamilton-area home and lifestyle boutique has announced that it is sadly closing its doors.
Bella & Coop is a small business run by mother and daughter Michele and Remi specializing in thoughtfully curated women’s apparel, home décor, jewelry, accessories, and beyond.
A shop was opened in Waterdown at 219 Dundas Street East in 2021 but closed up in 2023, leaving Bella & Coop to operate out of their Caledonia storefront as well as online sales.
However, it was announced this week that Bella & Coop is winding down operations and fully closing after 6 total years in business.
“Please know this was not a simple decision – we have agonized over this and put it off for far longer than we should have,” wrote Michele and Remi in a post on social media.
“Deciding to close when we’ve poured our heart and souls into this business for so long felt impossible, but ultimately it is the best decision for us moving forward.”
Before fully closing, Bella & Coop is offering up their remaining stock at intense discounts of 50 to 65 per cent off. The website will remain open for the next two weeks to accommodate orders.
