Beloved Hamilton butcher and meat shop opens in new location

One of Hamilton’s best spots for locally-sourced, quality cuts of meat has officially reopened in its new location.
Since launching in 2020, J. Waldron Butchers has been known as an exceptional purveyor of meats sourced from small-scale Ontario farms, providing home cooks and restaurants with everything from cuts of steak to house-made sausages to beef tenderloin to meat pies and more.
Owned and operated by Jamie Waldron, the award-winning butcher shop was originally located in a tucked-away storefront at 353 Barton Street East. Now, they’ve moved onto the main Barton Village strip to their new home at 305 Barton Street East, right beside Comma Café.
On top of house-butchered cuts of delicious Ontario meat, the shop also offers some select pantry items plus hot dog and burger buns if you’re grabbing some meat to toss on the grill.
Local foodies already love this spot, so pay them a visit in their new 305 Barton East home and show them some love!
