Beloved Hamilton coffee shop is permanently closing

A popular Hamilton coffee shop known for its bright, inviting vibes and exceptional coffee and espresso drinks has announced its closure.
Trueshot Coffee – located at 158 James Street South – opened its doors and brewed its first cups back in January 2020, mere months before the pandemic shut the world down.
The café nonetheless soldiered on, earning some local popularity for its strong coffee program and lovely two-level cafe space perfect for sitting down for a few hours with a laptop and a latte.
However, just shy of its third birthday, Trueshot has sadly announced that it will be closing up shop right before the end of 2022.
“It’s been a rollercoaster since opening in January 2020. I am extremely grateful to everyone who walked through our doors to support us,” wrote Trueshot Coffee in a post on social media.
“I am eternally thankful to all the staff past and present, vendors, and the community who have made Trueshot what it is. It’s been an honour to get to know you all over the last three years.”
Trueshot Coffee’s last day in business will be Friday, December 30th. Locals can visit the shop for one last cup between 8 am and 5 pm on Thursday and Friday.
