Beloved Hamilton music shop has moved to a new location

A Hamilton music shop with a strong reputation has moved into a new storefront.
The Acoustic Room was a prior mainstay at 144 James Street South, serving as a local hub for acoustic and electric guitars, ukuleles, harmonicas, amplifiers, as well as supplies and accessories like strings, cases, and capos.

Owned and operated by Mark Pongetti, formerly of Pongetti Music which was open in Hamilton for 34 years, The Acoustic Room has become known as one of the city’s best spots for guitars and more backed by decades of industry knowledge.
Now, The Acoustic Room has packed up its James South location and freshly opened its doors in a new shop at 229 Locke Street South, joining the bustling Locke Street shopping district!
The shop will be open Tuesday to Friday from 11 am to 6 pm each week, as well as Saturdays from 11 am to 5 pm.
