One of the Hamilton area’s biggest annual music festivals is back with a stacked lineup of artists this week.
Burlington’s Sound of Music Festival officially kicked off on June 12th and runs through to June 19th at Spencer Smith Park, with attractions like buskers, vendors, delicious food, a midway, and dozens of music artists taking the stage all week long.

Some of the headliners for this year’s festival include Fantastic Negrito, The Trews, Finger Eleven, Black Stone Cherry, The Tea Party, The Washboard Union, Skid Row, and High Valley.
But that’s just the tip of the iceberg in a lineup that runs the gamut from heavy rock to folk, from pop to klezmer, from hip-hop to country.
After two years of no full-scale festival due to the pandemic, locals are undoubtedly eager to get back to live music and enjoy this massive outdoor summer event!
