Burlington’s Sound of Music Festival kicks off this week

One of the biggest annual music festivals in the Hamilton and Burlington area is back with its stacked 2024 event this week.
Sound of Music Festival returns to Burlington’s Spencer Smith Park from June 13th to 16th with a huge amount of fun things to see and do over the multi-day festivities.
Free to attend, this year’s festival features a sturdy line-up of music and live entertainment playing across three stages, including headlining acts like Kim Mitchell, The Jim Cuddy Band, Chilliwack, Trooper, Restless Road, 4Korners, Strange Advance, and Tyler Shaw.
Other artists taking the stage throughout the 4-day event include Kevin Hearn of the Barenaked Ladies, Road Apples, Drag Race superstar Priyanka, Born in the Eighties, Spin Doctors, Alli Walker, Reve, The Northern Pikes, Tiegen Gayse, and so many more.
But that’s far from all: Sound of Music Festival will also feature a midway with rides and games, food vendors, and the traditional festival parade on June 15th at 11am.
