Pack some extra Wet-Naps and put on your stretchiest pants, because Canada’s Largest Ribfest is making its tasty return to Burlington this weekend.
Originally founded in 1996 by Rotary Burlington Lakeshore, the annual fundraiser has become a major summer staple for the Burlington area, serving up all kinds of delicious barbecue goodness alongside live music, entertainment, rides, games, and more.

This year’s big event takes place through Labour Day weekend from September 2nd to 5th, and features a wide variety of award-winning barbecue joints serving up all things saucy and smoked.
Just some of the food vendors on hand for 2022 include Smokehouse Bandits, Silver Bullet BBQ, The Hogfather, Camp 31, Ribs Royale, Hawgs Gone Wild, Bone Daddy’s BBQ, and Pistol Pete’s Smokehouse.
Live entertainment will be provided by performers like Mike Stevenson, Electric Crush, The Boys and I, Jessica Sevier, Dirty Pioneers, Suzi Kory, The Blackstones, and many others all weekend long, and visitors can kick back in the sun with some ribs and beer or jump on some classic family-friendly rides at the festival’s midway.
