Chocolate shops are a bit of a hidden secret in Hamilton and Chocolate Tales is no exception.
Chocolate Tales produces a wide range of delicious chocolate products. Not only that, but they also offer chocolate-making workshops and tours of their facility.
The shop was founded in Hamilton by David & Zohar Levy in 2009 with the goal of creating their dream chocolate company. Their passion for the industry has resulted in many unique chocolate-inspired events and products incomparable to anywhere else in the city.
Their factory tours are $5 per person and include a history of the chocolate followed by a tasting. Those who take the tour can then purchase chocolate from the shop or sign up for one of their many workshops.
All chocolates sold at Chocolate Tales are peanut-free, tree nut-free, and gluten-free. They are made in-house with the best beans possible, all while supporting fair trade, living wage growers. They also make vegan, keto, and diabetic-friendly options so that their chocolate can be enjoyed by everyone.
But most importantly, Chocolate Tales is about creating an entire experience around chocolate. Not only are you supporting local chocolatiers, but you will experience the joy handcrafted chocolate can bring by making it yourself with friends, families and colleagues.
Chocolate Tales runs 2 or 3 classes a week. You can sign up for a factory tour or chocolate-making workshop on their website.
