Club Absinthe is moving back to its original location in Hamilton

When Hamilton’s iconic nightclub and music venue Club Absinthe announced that they’d be leaving their 38 King William Street home and moving to a new location, many locals were left feeling bittersweet about the venue’s transition out of its current digs.

However, Absinthe just made the exciting announcement that they’re not just moving to a new location: they’re moving back to their original home at 233 King Street East.

For nearly 20 years, Absinthe has been a staple of Hamilton’s nightlife scene, hosting everything from concerts to drag shows to dance parties and fashion showcases.

Though the 38 King William Street venue has played host to countless events and helped create lifelong memories, anticipation is high for their nostalgic return to the original King East location that started it all.

Owners Blake, Jessica, and Paul shared the news via Absinthe’s social media and were quickly met with hundreds of responses from Absinthe patrons and supporters excited about the venue’s return to its roots.

The venue continues to share progress on its renovation of the original space, and locals can follow along by following Absinthe on social media here!
