Festival of Friends hits Hamilton’s Gage Park this weekend

One of Hamilton’s favourite free summer festivals has taken over Gage Park this weekend. 

Festival of Friends kicked off on Friday, August 2nd and runs to Sunday, August 4th with a stacked lineup of live music, entertainment, food, vendors, rides, and more. 

The 2024 music lineup has got locals excited, with American funk rock band headlining on Friday night, followed by Canadian rockers Crash Test Dummies and the iconic ‘70s disco group Village People on Saturday night, then Vancouver-based country group The Washboard Union closing things out on Sunday night.

Other thrilling acts hitting the three stages during the festival include Pip the Band, Behind the Woodpile, Fast Brake, Mattie Leon, Blood Roses, Doctor Tongue, The Wild High, Honey Luck, Alfie Smith, and many others. 

Add to that lots of tasty food vendors, artisans, family activities, and a midway, and you have all the makings of a fun weekend in Gage Park with this awesome annual event.
