Food Is Me docuseries and tasting in Hamilton

Do you enjoy trying local foods and watching something new? If so, the Food Is Me premier and food tasting is something for you!

The docuseries Food Is Me references the food businesses you’ll be tasting in a comical and entertaining way! It will include information and inner details about the restaurants and their owners.

At the event, you will have the opportunity to try signature menu items from five local restaurants right here in Hamilton.

Grain & Grit will be serving craft beer. You will have the option to choose from a few different types of craft beer including tasty flavors like over-steeped orange pekoe tea, dried orange peel and toasted pumpernickel & walnuts.

Tomah’s menu options include a variety of handcrafted cheeses, as well as many tasty homemade dips. A yogurt based dip, an eggplant dip and hummus will all be served along with fresh pita bread.

Dear Grain will offer samples from multiple different housemade loafs. They will be serving from the following variety: multigrain porridge loaf, country loaf, cheese loaf as well as rolls and a dessert!

Marias Tortas Jalisco’s menu will offer some tasty Mexican eats! A popular Mexican favorite, flautas will be served along with fresh pico de gallo, salsa roja, salsa verde and a few other side dishes.

Lastly, The Himalya will give you the chance to try their delicious and flavourful homemade samosas. What’s exciting about the tasting of this restaurant is that everyone will be given a box of desserts to take home. You won’t be leaving empty handed!

The event takes place TODAY on Thursday March 30th at Hamilton’s Westdale Theatre.
