Hamilton’s Royal Botanical Gardens (RBG) is hosting an autumn event that’s perfect for the whole family.
The Great Pumpkin Trail returns to the RBG for 2024, taking place in Hendrie Park nature sanctuary from October 18th to 20th and 25th to 27th beginning at 5:30 pm each evening.
Visitors can walk the 1-kilometre trail and enjoy the moody, autumnal glow of hundreds of hand-carved jack-o-lanterns on display in an event that has become an annual tradition at the RBG, and one that’s perfect for the days leading up to Halloween.
Sweet and savoury fall food and drink will also be on hand, as well as pumpkin-themed activities and even some live entertainment. Depending on the night you attend, you might catch performances by Tim Burr: Circus Lumberjack, a juggling show by Peter Pumpkin, or a vampire fire performance by Forever in Flames.
Tickets for the RBG’s Great Pumpkin Trail are available in multiple timeslots each night of the event, and they’re available to purchase on their website.
