Hamilton art shop LEN: democratic is reopening in a new location

After swiftly closing up shop on James North, popular local art shop LEN: democratic is preparing to reopen at a storefront in a different location in Hamilton.

A James North staple that shared a space with Faema Hamilton, LEN: democratic is a go-to shop for off-the-wall items, specializing in unique local art finds, gift ideas, home décor, apparel, accessories, and beyond.

The shop announced the closure of its original location on January 1st via Instagram, and that product orders could still be fulfilled by phone or email in the interim while a new space for the shop was being sought out.

Thankfully, the turnaround for LEN: democratic’s new location didn’t take long at all, as the art shop has just announced on social media that the finishing touches are falling into place at their new location of 22 Wilson Street, Unit 2, steps away from James North and neighbouring notable spots like Sonic Unyon Recording Company and popular record shop Dr. Disc.

According to today’s Instagram update, LEN: democratic is planning to have the new storefront open by this coming Saturday, February 1st! If all goes well, head on down this weekend and show them some love in the new digs, Hamilton!
