A humble Hamilton hot sauce maker has been featured on one of YouTube’s most popular series.
Dawson’s Hot Sauce, known for their quality small-batch hot sauces in an enticing variety of flavours, has a sauce featured on the latest season of Hot Ones: an immensely popular YouTube show that regularly sees millions of views per episode.
Hot Ones sees show host Sean Evans interview celebrities – everyone from Gordon Ramsay to Brie Larson to Shaq – while they try to make their way through an increasingly spicier lineup of hot sauces.
Each season, a new range of hot sauces from around the world is featured; and for the forthcoming 17th season, Dawson’s Hot Sauce has the honour of being featured with their enticing new Cedar-Smoked Garlic hot sauce.
“This is our most complex sauce to date and we’re really excited to share it with everyone,” wrote Dawson’s Hot Sauce on social media. “Smoked garlic, fermented habanero, sumac, and a special white wine vinegar really lets this sauce stand on its own.”
This won’t be the first time Dawson’s has appeared on Hot Ones. It was also a featured hot sauce in the show’s 5th and 13th seasons, even earning a special shout-out from actor Matthew McConaughey who praised the sauce during the show.
The new season of Hot Ones launches on Thursday, January 20th on YouTube.
