The City of Hamilton has released detailed plans for a redesigned Hamilton Street Railway (HSR) bus route network and is seeking public input on the proposal.
The conceptual designs – which also factor in the needs of the forthcoming Hamilton Light Rail Transit (LRT) line – are intended to improve, update, and modernize the city’s existing layout of bus routes.
In 2019, @HSR launched the (Re)envision the HSR project. The feedback we received helped shape the proposed (re)Designed Network for transit in #HamOnt. To take the next step forward, we want to hear what you think about the conceptual design: https://t.co/CuZKR0Zv97 pic.twitter.com/gu3XOe0RPx

The city is current accepting public feedback on the proposed redesign, with locals invited to view the new concept network map online and take a short survey to share their thoughts.
Additionally, a variety of public network consultations are open for attendance as community events throughout the month of June, allowing locals to drop by in person and offer their opinions and perspectives.
Public feedback will help guide adjustments to the network proposal before it is presented to Hamilton city council in early 2024.
See the redesigned network map here, and take the survey on the city website.
