Hamilton’s bike share service is celebrating a decade of operating in the city.
Hamilton Bike Share is a widely used public transportation service that allows locals to borrow public bicycles from stations around the city for a modest fee.
This low-impact, eco-friendly commute alternative to buses and taxis has proven popular with locals, and now, they’re celebrating their 10th anniversary in fun fashion with a special even on Thursday, March 20th.
Locals can pop by Gallery 206 in the Cotton Factory (270 Sherman Avenue North) between 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm to partake in the family-friendly festivities, which includes two group bike rides to the event and treats provided by Pinch Bakery & Plant Shop.
Those who want to get involved in the group rides to the birthday party can do so with a group departing from McMaster University at Forsyth and Sterling at 5:30 pm or from Beasley Park at 6:15 pm.
See more at Hamilton Bike Share’s social media and wish them a well-deserved happy birthday!
