Hamilton craft beer bar is set to reopen its doors

A shuttered Hamilton bar for craft beer, snacks, and good vibes will be reopening soon.

Mosaic is a craft beer bar in Barton Village at 431 Barton Street East known for its relaxed atmosphere, rotating tap list of Ontario craft beer favourites, and its regular live events like music, trivia nights, comedy shows, karaoke, and more.

Locals were saddened when Mosaic announced its plans to close its doors earlier this spring, with the bar saying goodbye as of April 13th in line with their fifth anniversary.

At the time of the closure, a reason was not publicly given; but now, it turns out Mosaic’s ‘goodbye’ must only be a ‘see you later’ as the craft beer bar has taken to social media to tease their return.

“Your favourite hangout is making a comeback,” reads a message from Mosaic on Instagram, accompanied by the Taylor swift lyric ‘We are never ever getting back together’ with the ‘never ever’ cheekily scratched out.

Details about specific opening dates and plans are still to come, but Mosaic has confirmed they will in fact be reopening in the same 431 Barton East location they’ve called home for the past half-decade.
