Hamilton craft brewery releases collab beer with golf star Mike Weir

A beloved Hamilton craft brewery known for their approachable beers made in classic styles has collaborated with Canadian professional golfer Mike Weir on a new brew.

Shawn & Ed Brewing, located in Downtown Dundas where they brew their lager-focused lineup of beers on site, just released what they call ‘Weir Beer:’ a craft ‘ultra lager’ made in collaboration with the namesake golf legend himself.

Clocking in at just 3.9 per cent ABv, Weir Beer is a light-bodied session lager that’s sure to be a popular patio (and golf course) crusher in the summer months, with its easy-going flavour profile of citrus and grassy notes leading to a clean finish.
