Hamilton’s lovers of literature have plenty to get excited about at this year’s gritLIT Festival: an annual celebration of Canadian literature that brings together readers and authors to share in their love of the written word.
Taking place with a mix of in-person and online events from April 19 to 23, this year’s gritLIT features exciting local and international authors including Ann-Marie MacDonald, Catherine Hernandez, Jamie Tennant, Anuja Varghese, Falen Johnson, Elyse Friedman, Tsering Yangzom Lama, Reema Patel, Bronwen Tucker, and so many others.

The festival this year will consist of invigorating interviews, panels, readings, Q&As, and workshops that dive in on the art and craft of writing in the context of Canadian literature.
