Hamilton Police have notified the public about yet another incident of pedestrians injured by a motorist.
On Sunday, July 10th at approximately 4 pm, a 30-year-old mother and her 10-year-old son were struck by an out-of-control motorist in a black 2008 Chevy Equinox on Ottawa Street North near Dalhousie Avenue.

According to a release from the Hamilton Police Service, the driver mounted the curb while heading southbound and struck the mother and son while they walked northbound on the sidewalk.
The pair was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries, and the driver of the vehicle fled from the scene on foot prior to police arrival.
