Hamilton police search for stolen car from set of Batman TV production

Hamilton Police are searching for a prop vehicle that was stolen in Downtown Hamilton in the Main and Dundurn area on the evening of April 19th from the local set of a television production related to Batman.

Stolen: Black 1979 Cadillac Fleetwood with fake Gotham City plates.

Vehicle was parked in downtown Hamilton and was a prop for a movie production.

A tweet from the police service displays a photo of a similar vehicle, which is a black 1979 Cadillac Fleetwood most notably characterized by its fake Gotham City licence plates.

The prop vehicle was likely being used for production on the new CW Network series ‘Gotham Knights,’ based on the immensely popular DC Comics series. The show has been filming in Hamilton throughout April.

Hamilton Police are asking anyone who may have information about the stolen vehicle to contact them at 905-546-4925.
