Hamilton restaurant Berkeley North is opening a second location

One of Hamilton’s award-winning restaurants is preparing to open up a sister location with a fresh concept.

Berkeley North – located along King William Street’s restaurant row – has cemented itself as one of the best restaurants in Hamilton, known for its West Coast-style share plate concept.

The restaurant features an ever-changing menu of exceptional dishes crafted with local ingredients (if you haven’t tried their house-made cheese, you haven’t lived) served alongside craft beer, thoughtfully curated wine, and house cocktails.

Gratefully, Hamilton is about to get even more Berkeley North goodness with the forthcoming launch of BNLocal: a “casual and fun” new restaurant and bar opening in the former home of Ray’s Boathouse at the corner of Dundurn Street and Stanley Avenue.

Though further details on a menu or opening date are still to come, Berkeley North says that their intent with BNLocal is to “continue the history of a true neighbourhood hangout.”

Frankly, we don’t need to know much more than that to be excited by anything the Berkeley North team puts their hands on. Locals can follow their progress on BNLocal’s social media
