Hamilton spot named one of Canada’s top 100 restaurants

It’s no secret that Hamilton is making waves all over the country for it’s famously top-notch food scene. It’s even less of a secret now, because one of Hamilton’s hottest restaurants was just named one of Canada’s top 100 restaurants for 2019.
That would be Berkeley North, the West Coast-style fine dining spot that puts emphasis on tantalizing share plates of expertly-crafted, locally-sourced fare in its intimate space on King William Street’s burgeoning Restaurant Row.
This notable recognition comes from famous restaurant reservation and information provider OpenTable, which routinely releases lists – created via diner feedback through OpenTable’s database – recognizing national excellence in Canada’s endless sea of restaurants, bars, and food purveyors.
While countless other Hamilton establishments would be far from out of place on OpenTable’s 2019 list, it’s unsurprising that Berkeley North in particular has found itself recognized; they have appeared on numerous previous lists, including one earlier this year that acknowledged Berkeley North as one of Canada’s most romantic restaurant destinations for a date.
