Originating from Harry Potter, the game consists of four main positions: Keepers, Chasers, Beaters and Seekers. Teams coordinate their Chasers and Keeper to pass the quaffle through their opponent’s set of hoops to score points, while simultaneously defending their own set of hoops. Meanwhile, the Beaters use bludgers to knock people out of the game temporarily.
At the 17 minute mark, the Snitch Runner is released where the Seeker for each team will either catch or defend the “snitch tail”, which is a small ball attached to the back of the Snitch Runner. The game typically ends when the snitch tail is caught.
The game will be hosted on March 31 / April 1, 2018 at Tim Hortons Field. When tickets are available for online purchase, we’ll let you know.
