Stick on some shorts and slather on the sunscreen, because Hamilton is kicking off the new work week with a couple of days of some scorching hot weather.
The city has been seeing a mix of warmer and cooler days recently, but the final days of May are forecasted to be particularly hot and increasingly humid, according to Environment Canada.

Through Monday and Tuesday this week, Hamilton should expect highs of around 30 degrees Celsius, with temperatures potentially feeling a few degrees higher due to humidity.
Though a dip in temperature is expected because of an oncoming cold from on Wednesday evening, these first few weekdays are poised to bring a blast of summery heat to the tail end of the spring season.
The end of the week should see more reasonable temperatures return, with forecasted highs hovering around 20 degrees Celsius starting on Thursday.
