Hamilton wine tasting festival announces dates, tickets

Dates have officially been announced for Hamilton’s brand new wine festival arriving for two days this spring. 

Why Not Wine Festival – a new Sonic Unyon event from the folks behind annual craft beer festival Because Beer – will take place on Friday, May 12th and Saturday, May 13th from 4 pm to 11 pm each day at Bridgeworks (200 Caroline Street North).

The festival brings all of the fun of a craft beer festival to the wine-loving crowd, offering up wine tastings – from whites to reds to rosés and beyond – courtesy of a variety of regional vineyards and winemakers. 

On top of that, the event will feature a selection of food trucks and vendors, activities, and live entertainment provided by Spice Girls tribute band Wannabe on the Friday and a drag show hosted by Adam and Steve on the Saturday.
