Hamilton’s iconic rockers Arkells seem to have no plans of slowing down anytime soon.
The Max Kerman-led, multi-award-winning band has announced its next record: Laundry Pile, due to be release on September 21st through Universal Music Canada.
The new studio album is set to drop almost exactly one year after their last record, Blink Twice, and a first single – the album’s title track, a lovely piano ballad that puts its tender lyric front and centre – has dropped now on all streaming platforms to give fans their first taste of what’s to come.
“Anyone who keeps a journal will tell you that writing is one of the best ways to work through the chapters of your life, and that’s what Laundry Pile is about,” writes the band in an announcement on social media.
“It’s the messy parts that end up teaching you a lot. A good mix of love, regret, desire, shame, and most importantly – the longing to get it right.”
Laundry Pile, the latest studio record by Arkells, drops on September 21st.
