This weekend, Hamilton residents have the rare opportunity to get an inside look at the city’s massive new film studio and production facility.
Aeon Studio Group is offering a special public tour of the new Bayfront Studios, which newly holds the title of Hamilton’s largest space for film and television production.
The tour takes place on Saturday, February 12th from 10 am to 3 pm, and those who want to join in need to sign up in advance via the Aeon Studio Group website.

Those who have never experienced the film production process from behind-the-scenes will be in for a treat, getting a one-time chance to see where all of the magic happens from sound stages to workshop spaces to production offices and everything in between.
It’s no secret that Hamilton has turned into a prime hub for new film and television production, due in part to its proximity to Toronto.
Hamilton has become a high profile location for film and TV, with Academy Award nominated films – including the latest Guillermo del Toro feature Nightmare Alley, which just got a Best Picture nod this week – and popular Netflix series like The Umbrella Academy famously filmed in the Hammer.
The Bayfront Studio Tour takes place on Saturday, February 12th from 10 am to 3 pm. Those who wish to attend must register in advance at aeonstudiogroup.com/events/bayfront-studio-tour
