Indian restaurant in Hamilton closes its doors

A restaurant for authentic Indian cuisine and more has closed its doors in Hamilton.
Everest Tandoori Kitchen was located at 110 King Street West inside Jackson Square, where they specialized in North Indian, Hakka, and Nepali dishes and flavours, from Indo-Chinese fried rices to curries to noodle dishes to biryani and much more.
The Hamilton location opened to build on the success of other Everest restaurants in St. Catharines and Welland; but sadly, the Jackson Square restaurant has permanently closed its doors as of the end of April.
“Our Hamilton location has permanently closed due to local business conditions and overall sustainability,” wrote Everest in a post on social media. “We sincerely thank you for your continued support over the years.”
Everest Tandoori Location first opened its Hamilton restaurant in December 2022. The St. Catharines and Welland locations remain open for business.
