Italian bakery and shop Castelli Mercato opens in Ancaster

We hope you’re hungry, because a new shop for tempting Italian deliciousness just opened its doors in Ancaster.
Castelli Mercato, open now at 13 Hatton Drive in Ancaster, is a new sister establishment of popular James North restaurant Castelli Cucina.
Unlike the restaurant, which is a sit-down spot for fine Italian dishes with contemporary flair, Castelli Mercato serves as a market for fresh-baked Italian treats, Roman-style slab pizzas, and fine imported goods.
A study selection of pizzas including flavours like Margherita, Pepperoni, and Diavola are available by the slab or slice, ready to be followed by a sweet finale in the form of handmade cannoli, biscotti, tiramisu, bombolone, and so much more.
An espresso bar serves up fresh lattes, Americanos, and macchiatos, and the shop also features a curated selection of Italian pantry items made in-house or imported, from excellent pasta sauces to fresh cheeses to olive oils.
