La Luna Express closes one of its Hamilton locations

One of Hamilton’s best known spots for authentic Lebanese food has closed one of its locations in the city.
La Luna Express was previously located at 163 James Street South, matched by other well-loved locations on King Street, Concession Street, Barton Street, and along Upper James.
Fresh, flavourful Lebanese cuisine is the focus of La Luna’s menu, from handmade falafel to chicken shawarma to Fattoush salads to kafta pitas and so much more.
However, La Luna Express’ location on James South has sadly closed its doors, leaving one less spot in Hamilton for locals to get their fix.
“Thank you so much for all of the support over the years,” wrote La Luna in a message.
It didn’t take long for 163 James Street South to become residence of another restaurant: the new Freddy’s Mediterranean Cuisine, which sports some similar menu items to La Luna while also offering other dishes like fish & chips, steak, and chicken souvlaki.
Thankfully, those who love La Luna still have four other Hamilton locations to visit!
