Longstanding Hamilton fish & chips shop reopening with new owners

A longstanding Hamilton fixture for fish & chips that closed late last year will be reopening under new ownership.
Harry’s Fish & Chips broke some hearts when they announced back in December 2022 that the Hamilton staple – located at 1138 Fennell Avenue East – would be closing up shop after 40 years of service.
The news wasn’t entirely sad, though: at the time, Harry’s previous ownership said that they’d hoped to be able to pass the beloved fish & chip shop on to new owners who would, ideally, maintain what locals love about the business while carrying it forth into the future.
Thankfully, that day has come. Through a post on Facebook, Harry’s Fish & Chips has announced that they will be reopening under new ownership beginning May 1st, 2023!
“They have committed to provide the same great taste and quality food that has made Harry’s a local favourite for years,” reads the announcement.
Fans of fish & chips will undoubtedly be excited by the news, and we can’t wait to re-welcome Harry’s under new ownership!
