Low-cost airline PLAY adds flights to Amsterdam from Hamilton

Low-cost Icelandic airline PLAY has added flights to Amsterdam from Hamilton this summer, for those looking to save some cash while travelling to one of the world’s most attractive tourist destinations.

Tickets for this new route, which flies out of the John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport, are available now. The first flight out of Hamilton will be on June 22nd.

Airfare prices start at $169, and flights will arrive in Amsterdam at Schiphol Airport after a stopover in Iceland.

PLAY announced the launch of service in Hamilton mere months ago, adding to the growing range of budget airlines that fly out of Hamilton’s airport at low cost such as Swoop.

“We are thrilled to launch our services to Amsterdam and connect more customers to our affordable travel options,” said Birgir Jónsson, CEO of PLAY.

“Amsterdam is one of Europe’s biggest hubs and a vital destination for our VIA operations between Canada and Europe.”
