If your mouth waters over Merlot and you cheer for Chardonnay, Hamilton’s newest wine bar is exactly where you’ll want to be.
Meanwhile Winebar, located at the corner of James North and Barton Street, has officially opened its doors and uncorked its first bottles as of December 10th, 2019.
Created by the same team behind beloved Corktown coffee and brunch spot Salty Espresso, Meanwhile Winebar promises a night life focused change of pace from its daytime cafe counterpart, featuring an eclectic and thoughtfully curated selection of local and international wines available by the glass or bottle, with something to please pretty much any palate.
If wine isn’t really your thing, don’t worry: craft beer and liquor options are also available at the bar, along with a tantalizing menu of small bites designed to perfectly accompany your chosen libations. You won’t find full dinner dishes on offer here; rather, Meanwhile puts emphasis on small plates and snacks like cured meats, curated artisanal cheeses, breads, and nuts that are perfect for sharing with friends as you sip and chat and chat and sip.
In short, you’d be hard pressed to find a better place to luxuriate with your favourite friends on a late Friday night, so head down to Meanwhile Winebar for your first taste of this intimate, decadent new James North staple!
Meanwhile Winebar is located at 302 James Street North. Check them out on Instagram for more information.
