New gluten-free restaurant and bar opens in Hamilton

A unique new restaurant and bar specializing in gluten-free comfort foods has opened its doors in Hamilton.
MacTini Bar is now open at 189 Ottawa Street North in the Crown Point neighbourhood, taking over the cozy restaurant space that most recently held tapas spot Merk Snack Bar.
Prioritizing high quality dishes and drinks for the gluten-free and celiac set, visitors at MacTini Bar can expect menu items like rack of lamb, stuffed chicken, maple-lavender salmon, salads, and gooey gluten-free mac & cheese among other bites.
Those attractive dishes are well complemented by the restaurant’s selection of wines, martinis, and gluten-free beer.
Hamilton doesn’t have many food spots specializing in gluten-free dishes, so MacTini Bar appears to fill a much-needed gap in the local restaurant scene!
