New Mexican spot opens on James North in Hamilton

Tacos, margaritas, and more are on the menu at a cozy new Mexican eatery that recently opened its doors in Hamilton. 

El Grito Mexicano is now open at 236 James Street North, taking over the space that previously held vegan café Green Bar for over eight years. 

This new spot for authentic Mexican cuisine may not be vegan, but they’ve got an attractive menu of dishes including an impressive variety of tacos, burritos, quesadillas, Mexican soups, shareable appetizers, and more. 

Some standouts include their takes on birria tacos, flavourful fajitas, enchiladas, and chimichangas. They’ve also got some Mexican desserts like churros, banana changa, and sopapillas. 

If you’re craving tasty takes on classic and modern Mexican food, this new addition to James North looks like it brings the goods!
