New spot for burgers and shakes has opened in Hamilton

Proving that Hamilton is a city that loves its burgers, a new spot for burgers, shakes, and other fast food style indulgences recently opened its doors.

Grind Hamburgers has fired up the grills at a new location on the Hamilton Mountain at 1812 Rymal Road East, building on the success of an existing flagship spot in Georgetown.

True to the restaurant’s name, Grind Hamburgers says they grind their meat fresh every day, building no-nonsense burgers that are fully customizable with a range of traditional toppings like lettuce, pickles, onions, tomatoes, hot peppers mustard, relish, ketchup, and chipotle sauce.

Veggie burgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, and steak sandwiches are also on offer here, complemented by simple sides like fries, onion rings, and poutine.

Rounding the menu off is a selection of classic milkshakes including chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry, helping to give that full nostalgic fast food experience.

Sure, Hamilton’s got an overabundance of burger places; but if some solid new ones join the list, we’re not going to complain!
