A unique coffee shop and eatery with a focus on fermentation has freshly opened its doors in Hamilton.
Eldercamp is now open at 340 Barton Street East in the space that most recently held Emerald Coffee.
Specializing in “farm to jar to table” foods that favour fermented and preserved comfort bites, Eldercamp was launched by Kathryn Dieroff and Nadine Ubl, and most recently served its tasty food at a stand in the Hamilton Farmers’ Market.
Since upgrading to their own café in Barton Village, the menu has expanded and features breakfast sandwiches, yogurt bowls, sweet and savoury baked goods including soft pretzels, ever-changing feature creations, and so much more.
Match those eats with drip coffee by new local roaster Thirds Coffee and other handmade drinks like juices, yogurt beverages, and beyond, and you have all the makings of a new Barton Village favourite.
Visit Eldercamp at 340 Barton Street East and see more on their social media.
