New spot for pub-style comfort food opens in Hamilton

A new restaurant and bar just opened in Hamilton that seems to specialize in the cozy comforts of traditional pub fare. 

The Boiler & Whistle, now open at 1900 King Street East, matches tempting comfort bites with a selection of domestic and imported beer on tap, local and international wines, and other potables all served in a relaxed setting. 

The food appears to be one of the main draws here, with a menu sporting shareable appetizers like spinach dip, nachos, flatbreads, and fish tacos.

But that’s just the tip of the iceberg on a menu that features soups & salads, burgers, sandwiches, mussels, fresh pizzas made to order, chicken wings, and entrees like fish & chips or an indulgent baked meatball rigatoni. 

An additional kids menu makes The Boiler & Whistle a solid family-friendly option, with burgers, chicken tenders, and pasta dishes on hand for tinier visitors.
