New spot for Turkish eats and more opens in Hamilton

An intriguing new quick-service restaurant that specializes in Turkish-style eats just opened its doors in Hamilton. 

Pasha Istanbul House is now open from 11 am to 10 pm daily at 201 Ottawa Street North: the restaurant space that recently held Burger Lab and, for a brief time after, Best Burger Land.

Burgers are on the 100% halal menu at Pasha Istanbul House too, but the lineup is also loaded with dishes that appear to take notes from Turkish and Lebanese cuisines with approachable bites like lavash wraps, salads, appetizers, and more. 

A relatively simple menu features familiar favourites with a twist, including spring rolls loaded with a feta cheese filling, a chicken burger topped with both fried chicken and chicken shawarma, and the Pasha Poutine topped with shawarma chicken or beef. 

Plenty of dishes have already caught our eye, and we can’t to check out Pasha Istanbul House in the Crown Point neighbourhood to get our first tastes!
