The warm summer weather is making a blissful return, and with it comes plenty of outdoor recreational activities to fill your days with in Hamilton.
Among those activities is pickleball: a paddle sport that combines all the best elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis for a game that’s as fun as it is active.
Hamilton will soon be opening the outdoor pickleball courts at Confederation Beach Park for the season, with the courts scheduled to open in June 2023.

Locals will soon be able to reserve one of the outdoor pickleball courts for free via the city website at least 25 hours in advance, with hour-long slots available daily from 8 am to 10 pm with 10-minute transition times in between each slot.
Though nets are provided onsite, players will need to bring their own pickleball gear, including balls and paddles.
An official opening date for the Confederation Beach Park pickleball courts will be announced soon, and locals can check the city website for updates!
