Pet Lovers’ Market and Plant Lovers’ Market hit Hamilton this weekend

Whether you prefer your babies to be of the furry or leafy variety, you’ll want to check out a dual market for pet lovers and plant lovers hitting Hamilton this weekend.
Pet Lovers’ Market and Plant Lovers’ Market jointly take place at the Ancaster Fairgrounds (630 Trinity Rd. S, Jerseyville) this Saturday, November 30th from 11 am to 5 pm.
For a $6 admission fee (with children 12 and under free), explore a wide range of local and regional vendors, artisans, makers, and small businesses specializing in products and services focused on pets and plants, from food items to toys to accessories to art to themed decor and well beyond.
Some of the pet-focused vendors to expect include the pet rescue service Save Our Scruff, bead collar designer Rivet Dawg, gourmet ‘Muttball’ maker Your Ultimate Pet Products Corp (YUPP), natural handmade treat baker Goosie’s, pet-themed artist and designer Tiny Kaikoa, shoes for dogs from Crogs 4 Dogs, and many others.
If you’ve got your eye on the plant side of things – from flowers to tropicals to succulents – there’s plenty to explore in that department too. Visit vendors like local apiary Backed by Bees, bonsai nursery Tropical Expressions, plantable seed paper maker Plantame, Hamilton plant shop Better Than Bouquets, ceramic artist Dert Werk Pottery, rare succulent supplier ViviQ, and more.
But that’s not all! On top of over 85 vendors to explore combined, the markets will feature photo ops, a play area with a festive selfie booth, and – of course – lots of pet treats for your furry friends.
Visitors can bring one well-behaved and leashed pet per adult to explore the market as well, and waivers will be available on site to be filled out by pet owners who want to bring along their fur babies.
