Popular Caribbean restaurant from St. Catharines is coming to Hamilton

Helping to ensure Hamilton has more than just burgers and barbeque, a popular St. Catharines takeaway restaurant for Jamaican and Caribbean cuisine is opening a location in the city.

Jamrock Irie Jerk has announced their plans to launch the sister location to their St. Kitt’s flagship this fall, opening at 96 Main Street East in Hamilton.

The restaurant has become a Niagara region staple for its homestyle, deeply flavourful Jamaican and Caribbean dishes like bold jerk chicken, stewed oxtail, curried goat, and much more.

Meat and seafood dishes are matched by hearty vegetarian meals, from full dinner platters to roti to sides and snacks like handmade Jamaican patties, wraps, salads, and coco bread.

The menu is stacked at the St. Catharines kitchen and a similar one is sure to be on hand at the Hamilton location when it launches this September!
